me, dad and his wife are leaving tomorrow morning, heading down South to Porto Alegre (6 or so hours away). My dad's heart surgery will be performed there. It is a much larger city than Florianópolis, with excellent doctors and hospitals. The surgery will happen on Tuesday morning, and we will probably be back to Florianópolis a week after that. I probably won't be posting anything, as I probably will have no connection, plus I will be mostly at the hospital with him. Wish us luck, and talk soon.
